I like the focus on the word citizen, what being a good citizen means, locally and globally.
Travel and immersion in other cultures make world citizens. Maybe our sabbatical will inspire travel and awareness and lead to these things with our students later in their lives.
She says it's important to model being a world citizen/traveler, which is exactly what we'll be doing!
There are a lot of global projects where students reach out and interact world-wide. Must do more of this, Jim.
